What’s Offered

Always depends on availability

  • Pantry Items – Proteins, Produce & Paper Products
  • Meats & Fish – frozen & canned
  • Fresh Produce: Fruits & Vegetables
  • Eggs
  • Peanut butter
  • Beans, Legumes, Lentils – dry or canned
  • Paper Products: toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, facial tissues
  • Baby Formula, Baby Food, Diapers, Baby Wipes
  • Feminine Hygiene Products: liners, napkins, pads, tampons, wipes

How to use the Food Pantries:

  • LUM Protein Food Pantry – visit in person
    • Hours: Thursdays, 10 a.m. to Noon
    • LOCATION: St. John’s Episcopal Church, 6th Street between North & Ferry Streets, Lafayette, IN. Enter Red Door under Green Awning.
    • CityBus – Route #2B Union Street – Drop off at the corner of Ferry and N 6th Streets & cross both streets
    • Must provide proof of residency; Must not be sick; Must wear face mask & social distance, if asked to do so
  • LUM Westside Food Pantry – visit in person
    • Hours: Fridays, 10 a.m. to Noon
    • Location: Unitarian Universalist Church, 333 Meridian St, West Lafayette, IN. Enter on Smiley Street near playground.
    • CityBus – Route #1B Salisbury – Drop off at N Salisbury & Meridian Streets and walk down Meridian
    • Must provide proof of residency; Must not be sick; Must wear face mask & social distance, if asked to do so

Who may use the Food Pantry:

  • Tippecanoe County residents only
  • Adults – at least 18 years of age
  • Household income must be at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines (self declaration)
  • Individuals with Disabilities may send another adult by filling out the Proxy Form
    • Individual who picks up food must present completed & signed Proxy Form and a legal photo ID
    • Proxy Form (PDF) – ENGLISH SPANISH
